SCAA/Be Pro Be Proud Quarry Tour

We are excited to share that the Be Pro Be Proud truck will be at Reeves Blacksburg Quarry on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, and we’d love for you to join us! 

We’ll be hosting 120 students from Cherokee County Institute of Innovation for a day of hands-on learning about careers in mining and related industries. As part of the program, we are organizing a mini career fair, and we’d like to invite you to set up a table and showcase opportunities within your company. Only Associate Members will be invited (only one company per "specialty ie: heavy equipment, blasting,etc.). There is no cost associated with the event - and a 6 foot table and chairs will be provided.

· Morning Block (60 students): 9:15 AM – 11:30 AM (lunch provided) 

· Afternoon Block (60 students): 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM 

· Students will rotate between the BPBP trailer, the career fair, and a quarry tour (20 students per rotation, 30–40 minutes each).
